Wedding ring
Our big day is getting closer and closer.....
Yesterday Henri and I bought our wedding rings. It will take a few weeks before they'll be there, but we ordered them.
We are very proud and happy because the rings are a perfect match of both of our preferences.
I have no scrap projects to share yet. I entered my projects for the Scrapbook Magazine past Friday and bought a few sweet papers from the new MME collection. When I'm done with that layout, I'll share it with you.
XOXO

Model for one day...
Well.... actually it was only an hour....
Recently I was interviewed for our company magazine. The interview is part of a topic about good intentions and since I've lost 45 pounds (;D) my colleagues encouraged me to participate. So yesterday it was time to take some pictures to go with the article. At first they asked me to put on some big size clothes, but I refused that. I'm very proud to wear a smaller size, so that wasn't an option as fas as I was concerned. We agreed I would bring my 'Sonja Bakker' book (that's the dieet I'm stucked with since 20 weeks). And if I may say so myself, I'm very happy with the result. It's been a while since I had the nerve to do a photoshoot so this was a great boost. I'll only show you one picture and save the rest for a mini.
Thanks for stopping by!

-/- 20 kilo's!
Yeah!!!! This is a milestone for me, I've lost 20 kilo's (approx. 44 pounds)!!!
Only five more kilo's to go before the wedding. I'm so proud I'm able to wear normal size, fashionable clothes again!
Henri took a before/after picture, which I'll share with you this afternoon.
I've got no projects to share, cause I'm busy creating for the next Scrapbook Magazine. Two projects with Pink Paislee of which I've used all the papers and even the scraps, cause it's such a wonderful collection to work with. I'm working on some colorful bright Bo Bunny projects and of course I've used the gorgeous new Fashionista collection from Graphic45. That wasn't an assignment, but I do hope my project will make it in the magazine. I just love the vibrant colors and the vintage look!

Here it is!
Hi papercraft lovers! I'm back again with another sketch made by our Graphic45 DT member Amanda. I wanted to show you, you don't have to create a fashionable project using the new Fashionista collection. The papers are also gorgeous to create a background. On this layout the attention is really drawn to the pictures.
The journaling is a poem from Denny Davis and says:
There's nothing that's nicer than having a niece
Who's always a pleasure to see
Who brings so much sunshine to all those around her
Wherever she happens to be
Who means more than ever as each day goes by
Who's loved all year through
There's nothing that's nicer than having a niece
As dear and as special as you!
Have fun with the sketch!
Wednesday sketch is coming up
Ok.. it wasn't my turn, but Hilde asked me to do this weeks sketch as well. So this afternoon I'll come up with my take of the Wednesday sketch over at Graphic45.
Please be patient....
I wanted to share this article from the local paper with you. My hubby to be was interviewed. He's a reet tatcher and he explains that not only Dutch reet is used, but also Chinese reet. I'm so proud of him!!
And if you'd like to see more beautiful houses... check out their website www.rietdekkersbedrijfdekker.nl

Thank you girls.....
I had a wonderful time during the workshop yesterday!
Thank you all so much for your enthousiasm and sweet comments. It truly was a pleasure working with you girls! I must admit I was a bit tired when I got home, but it was absolutely worth it!
As I told you, I already have new material to work with for the next Scrapbook Magazine and my new Graphic45 collection arrived this week, so I don't have to be bored.....
Have a nice day, cu next week!

Happy Birthday Graphic45
I can hardly believe it’s already been a year since Graphic45 debuted with their first two collections in Anaheim and I fell in love with their gorgeous papers, the vintage look and the vibrant colors.
2008 for G45 was a little crazy to say the least, doubling in size from show to show. And have you seen the latest tree collections? Absolutely fabulous and I haven't even finished playing with the previous papers yet....
Amanda provided another great sketch for today. The sketch is plain and simple, and you can add your own style to it. I choose the Baby2Bride collection papers to scrap this wonderful picture of my girlfriends son.
His name is after a dutch bird, that's why I added the bird-rubon.
I hope you'll all be inspired by Amanda's sketch to create a lovely layout. Have fun!

busy busy busy
I can hardly believe how busy I am these days. I have no idea why all of a sudden everybody is pulling and pushing me. Well ok, let me take a deep breath and start todays blogentry....
I just finished creating my layout for tomorrows sketch. I kinda hoped my new Graphic45 papers would be on time, but unfortunately... So now I choose the Baby2Bride collection, here's a little peak:
Moon and Marije both challenged me to share my 6th picture in my 6th album. Well that was a bit tricky, because that's a picture of me trying on my wedding dress. So I cheated a little and started counting from the bottom instead. Hope you don't mind ;) It's a picture of my and my brother during a party at my aunt's house, a little over a year ago (can you tell I lost some weight?? :D )
I'll pass the challenge to everyone who likes to join....
CU tomorrow!

All about scrap...
Everything is all about scrapping these days, so much is going on, I can hardly keep you posted.
For starters, the new Scrapbook Magazine is available right now! There are some layouts from me with my all time favorite brand Sassafrass, but also three project with the latest Autumn Leaves papers. Unfortunately no Graphic45 this time, cause the latest collections haven't arrived yet. But..... this weekend I received an email from the US Postal service.... my package is on his way! YOOOHOO!!! Finally! I can't wait to get my hands on them.
Heather, one of my fellow DT members shared this video of the G45 booth on CHA:
I'm so proud to be one of their DT members! And how wonderful is that phoneboot!
(Sorry, i'm totally excited right now)
But there is more... Yesterday I went to Paper & Pictures to get my copy of the Scrapbook Magazine and to complete some things for the workshop next Saturday. Truike was back from CHA with a huge box full with samples of the latest collections shown on CHA! And guess what!?! I could pick whatever I wanted to create projects for Scrapbook Magazine and Cards Only. Truly awesome! I choose some bright Bo Bunny papers, the Fetching collection from Pink Paislee and some papers from Quick Quotes.
I have so much inspiration, that I don't know where to start :p
It was lovely to see some of the other Papergirlz as well. Funny that we have such different taste of scrappin, good thing though, otherwise it may have turned out in a catfight :) No, just kidding, they are all so sweet. We all picked out some personal favorites, and I can't wait to see what they will create!
There's a rumour about Paper & Pictures closing down... well let me make this clear... they are NOT!!! In fact within a few weeks, the store is moving to a beautiful new building on the corner of the street. Nothing to worry about!
Wednesday there will be another sketch over at Graphic45, I haven't start creating yet, so I have no sneak available yet...
Well that's it for today, cu soon!
