2 layouts and a TOOT :D

Two layouts to share today.
The first one I made after I decided to leave my current job for a while to re-integrate on another department. I totally love the picture, it's made by Corinne Delis during the 2nd Dutch crop. It gives me a good feeling, it's so bright.

The second one I made of me and my brother. I love my brother, he's four years younger and we're not alike at all, but there's one thing we definitly share and that is the love for the good stuff (in many ways). Sometimes I wish I was a bit more like him (maybe a next lo, haha LOL)

And the TOOT.....
Well, I'm proud to announce that I've been asked to join the Scrappendoejezo challenge DT.
Every first monday of the month starts a new challenge. So please come back on Monday and join us!!

Thanks for stopping by, see you next time!!

High heels and brownies

I had such a great time this weekend. Annie Haferman was at SDJZ to teach some workshops and we had so much fun! She is so sweet and enthousiastic, give her some coffee and she keeps on going. I really loved meeting her and she makes the brownies ever, with mint in them, they were so delicious.
Good thing we had only one hour to shop, it's really exhausting to run across Ede with Annie on high heels, that's for sure :D
It was very amusing to meet some SISters again too, they always make me smile.
Sorry for not sharing the blog adresses right now, but I've got to go.

I promiss to upload some pictures tomorrow.

Almost forgot....

I'm also organizing a 'picture party'....
Everybody was asking me about the pictures I use often on my projects, well they were taken during the bachelor party of my dear friend Jessica. It was such a fun day, that I'm looking forward to do it again. So I started a thread on www.Scrapinstyletv.com, you can find the details on this site: www.fotofeestje.nl.
Do you want some awesome pictures to use for scrapping? Or do you just wanna have a great day? Join us!! We haven't picked a date yet, because there are a few spots left...

XOXO

Can one get too much???

Owmy, this is serious... How much scrapping can you handle?!?
I have to admit I'm a real addict. I wish I could scrap all day, visit all the blogs, follow as many workshops as possible. I'm dreaming of a scrap-carreer, a project in a magazine, joining an amazing DT, teach my own workshops, well everyone has the right to dream right?!?

Well the point is there is so much going on right now and I don't want to miss the fun.
Tomorrow I'm joining a workshop of Annie Haferman, Friday 1st of February Jo Anne is teaching different ways to handle Prima Paintables (and I so adore the rhinestone swirls..). Dawn Inskip is coming to Holland the weekend of 15/16/17 February. And..... TIM HOLTZ is at Scrappen Doe Je Zo for demo's and a meet&greet on Saturday 23 February. Of course there is the Scrap-a-Licious weekend on 8/9 March with Corinne and Celine Navarro. Lucy is coming at the end of March and she is fabulous also. Don't forget Jo Anne's workshops, can't get enough of those. The 3rd Dutch SIScrop has to take place somewhere in March or April too..
So many things to look forward to, that I don't have to forget to enjoy the moments (hmm.. inspiration for my next lo..)

Who is with me on my scrappin'mania?

I just love my SISters!

I've been a bad blogger this week, sorry for that!
So many things have happened that I can't mention everything, but the highlight of the week was definitly the 2nd Dutch SIScrop in Ede at Scrappen Doe Je Zo.
I haven't glued one piece of paper, but it was a blast. So much fun chatting to all the sweet SISters, taking pictures, shopping and dining together.

Corinne took this portrait picture of me and I'm so proud of it...

I met Lucy from Sweden and she rocks! Can't wait till March when she is coming to teach here. I so love her freestyle, she is so creative!
I'm working on a couple of things, so I guess I can share some work with you this week..
But for now I'm of to the beautician for a facial my mother in law gave me... just relaxing hmmm...

Keep on smiling

Here's the layout I promissed to share. The weather is very dark, so it doesn't look as bright as it actually is. I've used the Zoe papers from Love Elsie and wrote the journaling along the edges.

I made it to the OLW slide...

Hi there! Hope you had a great weekend?!
Mine was lousy again. Been in bed most of the time. Can't seem to get rid of that flu, which immediatly has impact on my belly.
Still I've worked a whole day again today, for the first time in a year or so. I managed, but now I'm tired and my belly aches again. Guess that's not so weird...

But some good things to share also...
My 'Step' layout is on the OLW slide show. So glad about that, there were so many entries!!
I really love that challenge!!

Yesterday afternoon I made a really colorful layout. I haven't been able to take a picture, because it was dark yesterday, this morning and this afternoon when I got home. So I will share that with you tomorrow...

Only five more nights to the next Dutch SIScrop!!
Good night!

I feel good!! (tadadadada)

So good, so good, I feel good!!! haha LOL
No serious, my vacation really did me good, I have more energy and feel grateful for all the things I cán do.

Went to a really sweet friend today, whom I haven't seen for a long time and I'm glad a did. Also went to the 'haptonoom' (some sort of fysiotherapist) today for the first time in three weeks and it was like I'd been there last week, so I'm starting to make progress now.

I made this layout for the first OLW (one little word) challenge of this year. The word is 'steps'.
If you'd like to read the journaling and want to know which products I've used, just check out my SISgallery.

Only 8 more days to the second Dutch SIScrop! I'm so excited, looking forward to see my SISters again :D

Thanks for stopping by!

HAMBLY!!!!

Finally something to share!!

No holding back, just using all that great Hambly stuff.
I really love the result. Altough it was suppost to be a book called 7 days of thankfulness, I called the book thankfulness for the love I receive every day. It's filled with pictures of my family. If you'd like to see the whole book, just check out my SIS Gallery..

Happy New Year!!!!!

Goodmorning everybody, happy new year!
Instead of last year, I'm an early bird this year :D. That's propably due to the 'Jip en Janneke' champagne and to the fact I didn't drink red wine this time... So I'm feeling good and I wonder what this year will bring. For those who are wondering if he.... no, he did not... and I didn't won the lottery either, but this year must be better, it just has to be better! Not only for me but also for some of my friends.

Yesterday some friends came over for dinner and to celebrate new years eve, not quite a party like last year, but some real quality time together. On Saturday I'm joining Jo Anne's workshop '7 days of thankfulness', well today I'm thankful for my dishwasher! The kitchen is a real mess and I am so glad I don't have to wash everything by hand :D. But it was worth it, thanks guys, I had a great time yesterday!

How was your new years eve? Had a good time also?

XOXO
