The store is going to be awesome!

The new Paper & Pictures store is going to be absolutely awesome. I've been there a couple of time already to help the girls out, cause there is an incredibly lot to do before Thursday. On Friday the store will open at 10.00am and it's fully loaded with new stuff. Not only scap goodies, but also some little gifts and home deco. It's definitly worth it to pay us a visit in the openings week or join one of the workshops. The brand new Scrapbook Magazine will be available as well.

Since I'm spending all my spare time in the store, I haven't got any projects to share....

Busy, busy, busy....

I know.... I'm sorry.... It's Friday already and I haven't blogged for more than a week...
I'm so busy I couldn't even find the time to point out the Week of Cards over at Graphic45! Which is a same, cause there are so many beautiful cards on their blog this week. So make sure to pay a visit to the blog and watch the gallery. I created two cards for this week and like to share a sneak with you untill Hilde placed them on the G45blog.
Ik weet het, het spijt me... Het is alweer vrijdag en ik heb al meer dan een week niet geblogd. Ik ben zo druk met van alles en nog wat momenteel dat ik niet eens tijd gehad heb om jullie te wijzen op de Week of Cards op de site van Graphic45. Ga er zeker eens kijken want ze laten hele mooie kaarten zien. Ik heb zelf ook twee kaarten gemaakt. Hier alvast een sneak...


I also didn't mention yet that I'm on the catwalk at SIS this week! My spring mini of Iris is choosen by Becca Sutton for the catwalk. I'm so proud!!! It's my second catwalk project already.... the pictures of the mini are in the previous post.
Ik heb ook geen tijd gehad om te melden dat ik op de catwalk sta bij SIS! Mijn mini boekje van Iris uit de vorige post is door Becca Sutton uitgekozen en staat de hele week in de spotlight! Goed he!?

And look what my father in law gave me.... aint he sweet!?! A beautiful scrap-like chocolate easter egg!! He knows I'm not gonna eat it, but it looks cute in the kitchen.
En kijk eens wat ik van m'n schoonvader gekregen heb... lief hè? Een scrap-paasei. Hij weet dat ik 'm niet op ga eten, maar hij staat heel gezellig in de keuken.

Can you guess what's in this bag?? Well, I'll tell you anyway.... it's a little piece of my wedding dress. Henri took it with him when he went searching for a matching costume last week. He isn't telling me anything, so I don't know for sure he found a suit already and what color it's gonna be... really exciting :P
But I do know he's going to look so handsome!!
En kun je raden wat er in dit zakje zit? Nou ik vertel het toch wel... het is een klein stukje van m'n trouwjurk. Henri heeft het meegenomen bij het uitzoeken van z'n pak vorig weekend. Hij laat er niks over los, dus ik weet ook niet echt of hij al geslaagd is, maar ik weet wel zeker dat hij er heeeel knap uit zal zien in z'n pak!

Last but not least... my LSS is moving... Next Friday is the big opening event, but there will be a lot of activities the whole openingsweek.
Tot slot nog even het volgende voor de mensen die (hoe is het mogelijk) het gemist hebben... Paper & Pictures gaat verhuizen. Er moet nog heel veel werk verzet worden, maar volgende week is het zover... De opening van de nieuwe winkel! Het wordt ontzettend mooi en er zijn al heeeeeel veel nieuwe dingen binnen en volgende week komen er nog meer dozen uit Amerika. Het is echt een aanrader om in de speciale openingsweek even langs te komen want er zijn heel veel leuke activiteiten.

Spring is coming!

After last Thursday I felt terrible... I guess the flu got me again. That's the dark site of loosing so much weight... my resistance is very little. But, right now I'm feeling better just a bit coughing and tired....
Na afgelopen donderdag voelde ik me echt beroerd. Denk dat de griep me weer te pakken had. Dat is dan weer het nadeel van zoveel afvallen, m'n weerstand is 0,0. Maar op een beetje hoesten na gaat het weer aardig.
I've created two October Afternoon projects with the Hometown collection. The sun began to shine over here this week and I really felt like spring, that's why I choose these papers. A layout of me and Henri and a mini of Iris, cause she is such a cutie....
Ik heb twee October Afternoon projectsn gemaakt met de Hometown collectie. Toen de zon begon te schijnen had ik zin om met deze frisse papiertjes aan de slag te gaan. Een layout van Henri en mij en een mini van Iris, omdat ze zo'n schatje is....

YEAH!! I did it!!!!

I am so very, very, very proud!!!!
No, I did not reach the 25 kilo's yet, BUT today I went to Rotterdam to try my weddingdress already. It came in past Friday, a few weeks earlier than expected. And I was very curious if it would fit. I still needed to loose 4 kilo's after gaining 1 last week and I had no idea how the dress would be.
Although many people assured me it wouldn't be a problem, I still had my doubts. Luckily there was no need to...... I made it!! The dress is perfect!! a bit wide around the waist actually but they will adjust that.
I guess I will sleep like a princess tonight :)

Ik ben zo ontzettend trots!
Nee, ik heb de 25 kilo nog niet gehaald, MAAR... vandaag ben ik naar Rotterdam geweest om alvast mijn trouwjurk te passen. Hij is afgelopen vrijdag al binnengekomen, een paar weken eerder dan verwacht. En ik was zo super nieuwsgierig of hij zou passen! Ik moet eigenlijk nog 4 kilo afvallen, nadat ik afgelopen week weer een kilo aangekomen was en had dan ook geen idee hoe de jurk zou zitten. Ookal zeiden vele van jullie dat het geen probleem zou zijn, had ik nog wel m'n bedenkingen. Gelukkig bleek dat voor niks..... Ik heb het gehaald!! De jurk is perfect!! Hij is zelfs wat te groot bij de taille, maar dat kunnen ze makkelijk innemen.
Wat zal ik lekker slapen vannacht.. :)

I've got my camera back, so here's the project I promissed to share.
It's a layout with the new Graphic45 Communique collection. The picture is showing my dad and his sister during a surprise party. These kind of pictures are rare, so I wanted to scrap it for them. The butterflies ofcourse are from the Botanicabella papers.

This Jenni Bowlin layout was published in Scrapbook Magazine toghether with a mini. But I gave the mini away before I had the chanche to take pictures and haven't got it back yet. The layout is about different kinds of borders. Distressed, stitched, punched, rubons, shapes, etc..

Sweet Tilda

It really was an awesome weekend. I felt totally exhausted yesterday, but I really had a great time! I bought these Dreamstreet papers and used this sweet Tilda with tulips to create this little card... I feel like spring already....

Magnolia event

Tomorrow is the day... finally after all these weeks....
The Magnolia event at Paper & Pictures. I've seen the special designed stamp today and I promis you, it's very cute!
Truike and the girls have been working really, really, really hard to prepare everything for the event and there are a LOT of new scrap goodies in the shop. I can't even remember everything, but the new Jenni Bowlin is awesome. And if you like my favorite thickers, be quick cause they are in stock right now! Only this time it's not chipboard, but fabric. Absolutely great! Maya Road, 7Gypsies and a whole lot more.....
I'm gonna have a good night sleep and hope to see you all tomorrow or Saturday!

Bad blogger :(

I'm sorry I've been a very bad blogger recently. There are so many things going on right now, I can barely find the time to blog.
Remember the MME layout I told you about last week? I finished it and I'm very proud of the result, so I showed it to Truike and she kept it for Scrapbook Magazine. That means you'll have to wait a few months to see it. I also created two more layouts with one of the new Pink Paislee collections. Not available in stores in the Netherlands right now, but on his way. By the time they will be published you'll be able to lay your hands on that awesome collection. I had so much fun, I've used all the scraps and I will definitely buy more.
I do have a Graphic45 layout to share, but I left my camera at my Grandma's..... which means I'm not able to take pictures at the moment.
I did add a slideshow to my blog (on the right). Only I have no idea how to resize it, so that it will fit my frame :(

Also we have a lot to take care about for the wedding. Since we'll renovate our bathroom before the wedding, I want to make sure everything is taken care of before we start renovating. This weekend Henri and I went to Amstelveen and he tried on this absolutely stunning suit. He looks soooo handsome! Ofcourse I'm not gonna tell you the details ;P. We're also looking for gifts and we've picked out a card. (No... I'm not going to make them myself....) Besides that I'm orientating on the flowers and I've decided I want other shoes. Mine came with the dress, but I like them more special, hehe :D.

This weekend at Paper & Pictures there's a huge Magnolia event. Hope to see you there!
